Charlie Inverso has put together several outstanding soccer drills that you can do on your own or with one of two friends outside of the football team soccer training environment, Skill is at a premium in today's footballing game, but because of the dominance and time demands of formal soccer team training and the multitude of activities available outside of soccer, youth soccer players often miss out on the advantages of playing soccer "on their own".

The importance of ball mastery in soccer is undeniable and the best way to achieve it is through playing as much football as possible. This book offers effective and fun skill soccer drills you can use to get your soccer game to the next level!

Author: Having just completed his 17th soccer season with the Vikings, Inverso has been involved in soccer since childhood.

He was the goalkeeper for the Notre Dame High School 1974 state championship team and then continued his soccer career at Trenton State College. Earning his BS and MS degrees in Physical Education from TSC, he is a teacher at Crockett Middle School in Hamilton.

Under his soccer leadership, the Vikings have won four national championships (1988, 1991, 1995, 1996) and come close to the title numerous other years. He has been named National Coach of the Year four times. His 326-28-12 record with the Vikings boasts the second highest percentage of wins among active college coaches.

Approximately 110 of Inverso's former football players have graduated from Mercer and have gone on to play soccer at their transfer schools.

Thirty-two former soccer players have become college or high school coaches, and another 15 have played professionally.

Inverso also serves as a staff coach for the Region 1 Olympic Development Program, and as goalkeeper coach for under-14 and under-16 U.S. National soccer teams.
