Author: Allen Wade is an internationally recognized authority on soccer management, coaching teaching and training. He was The National Director of Education and Coaching for the Football Association for twenty years before taking up a similar position with the Republic Of Ireland.

Allen Wade was a leading member of the European Union Of Football Associations' Technical Committee from 1964 until 1982. He directed soccer coaching and training courses in many countries throughtout the world before taking up an itinerant position with Olympic Solidarity, largely on the African continent with which he has been associated for almost half a century.

Allen Wade captained The English Universities' representive soccer team and subsequently played professional soccer with Notts County F.C., the oldest professional club in the world. He is a former lecturer in Physical Education at Loughborough University.
